Historical monuments of Arasbaran in East Azarbaijan

The region of Arasbaran in Iran’s East Azarbaijan Province is hosting many historical monuments and buildings.

Some of its ancient memorials such as Shah Abbasi Caravanserai in Goijeh Boel, tomb of Sheikh Shahabuddin Ahri, and the historical bridges of Khodaafarin over the Aras River, have been sent for registration in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
