Iranian TV series ‘Gando’ welcomed in Azerbaijan Republic

Iranian ‘Gando’ TV series, recently aired by iFilm English TV channel, has been warmly welcomed by people of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Following the screening of ‘Gando’ on Iran-based Sahar Azari TV network, people in the Azerbaijan Republic welcomed the TV broadcast and also reacted warmly on social media platforms such as Facebook, sending numerous messages and calling for dubbing and broadcast of the second season of the series as soon as possible.

The Sahar Azari Network airs top Iranian movies and series in Azeri language for nearly three decades, and the TV network has been successful in attracting viewers in Caucasus.

‘Gando’, directed by Javad Afshar, has been one of the most successful Iranian series in Azerbaijan, making viewers glued to their TV screens, IRIB reported.

Dubbing of the series was carried out in Baku, capital city of the Azerbaijan Republic, under the supervision of Amin Abbasov, an Azerbaijani actor.

Some prominent voice actors participated in dubbing ‘Gando’ into Azeri language.
