Iran’s ‘After the Incident’ to vie at FICAIJ in Colombia

Iranian feature film ‘After the Incident’ has been slated to take part in the Children’s Audiovisual Festival (FICAIJ) in Colombia.

Directed by Pouriya Heidari-Oureh, the flick will be among the competing titles to hit the screen at the 12th edition of the fest.

‘After the Incident’ is about a little kid, who following an unfortunate incident decides to get along with his circumstances and pursue his goals.

Reza Kianian, Javad Ezzati, Gelareh Abbasi, Setareh Pesyani, Bahram Afshari, Nima Shaban-Nejad, Yasna Mirtahmaseb, Rouhollah Jafari and late Ali Ansariyan comprise the cast list of the film.

The feature film has already participated in the Int’l Film Festival for Children and Youth, where it grabbed the special UNICEF award.

The FICAIJ is one of the most important windows for exhibiting quality educational and alternative content as well as commercial content for children, adolescents, youth and families in the country and the region.

The fest seeks to encourage the creation, production, exhibition and distribution of quality content for and by children, adolescents and young people in the region, stimulating the leadership of children in all these processes.

This year’s edition of the FICAIJ is slated for July 29- August 26.
