Can Arash open heart to his mom’s love?: ‘Kimia’ promo

Now that Mahtab has seen her son after all these long 20 years, it is time for the mother and son to wear their hearts on sleeve on the 23rd episode of ‘Kimia’ to be aired tonight at 19:00 GMT.

Arash is not that optimistic about the woman who claims to be his mother. He cannot believe a single word she says about the past as infamous Mr. Moshfeq has definitely brainwashed him as a kid.

He is grown up without the love and affection of his mother. Time has been so hard on him, and now he cannot come into terms with the fact that why his mother has never looked him up.

In an emotional promo cut from tonight’s episode of the show, the mother and son sit face to face so that Arash can find answers for the unresolved issue of being deprived of his mother growing up.

Directed by Javad Afshar and produced by Mohammad-Reza Shafiee, ‘Kimia’ tells the story of a woman’s life during extremely important events in Iran’s contemporary history.

Kimia Parsa was a young girl living in the city of Khorramshahr during the reign of the country’s former king, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

We follow her as she experiences the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Saddam Hussein’s war on the country, and the present day.

As she experiences some of the most tumultuous times in recent history, her life is ravaged by pain and sorrow. Still, she refuses to give up hope and carries on.

Azita Hajiyan, Mehdi Soltani-Sarvestani, Gelareh Abbasi, Pouriya Poursorkh, Hassan Pourshirazi, Reza Kianian, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Niki Karimi, Mehraveh Sharifinia, and Mehdi Pakdel make up the castlist of this 110-episode series.

The long list of the stars go on with Ata Omrani, Amir-Hossein Arman, Soudabeh Beyzaee, Zahra Saeedi, Rouhollah Kamani, Atefeh Razavi, Mir-Taher Mazloumi, Borzou Arjmand, Mehrdad Ziaee, Khatereh Hatami, and Reza Tavakkoli.
