'Careless Crime' participating at Taoyuan Film Festival

Iranian feature 'Careless Crime' is taking part in the Taoyuan Film Festival in Taiwan.

Iranian media reports said 'Careless Crime', written by Nasim Ahmadpour and Shahram Mokri, is participating at the 9th edition of the festival.

The film is about four people who decide to burn a cinema packed with people.

‘Careless Crime’ is the third feature film that has been directed by Mokri.

The movie took part in several international film festivals, and managed to grab several awards.

It received an Independent Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) award for Best Screenplay on the sidelines of the 77th Venice International Film Festival in Italy.

The 2022 edition of Taoyuan Film Festival kicked off on Friday and will run until August 28.
