Southern charm of Iran’s sandy Shif Island

The Iranian southern province of Bushehr is home to one of the most attractive sights and tourist attractions of the province called Shif Island.  

Shif Island is a sandy area with no pier. The anchoring of boats and the dinghies near the shore have added to the charm of this small island.

The dinghies sunk on the sandy shores of Shif Island due to the sea tide have created a double beauty for tourists and photographers.

In the past, Shif Island has been used as a port for the transportation of goods, exports, and imports from Iran to the Persian Gulf countries and vice versa.

The most important occupation of the people of Shif Island is fishing.
