The movie, produced by Mohammad-Sadeq Azin and written and directed by Babak Mohammadi, is a social drama.

In ‘Horse’, Shahab is someone who really needs to be blessed and quickly because he’s dying from the inside.

He was in an accident in which his wife died. He blames himself and that’s the reason why he’s depressed and his broken leg won’t heal.

One day while wandering about angrily with his wheelchair he sets eyes on a white horse; a horse that belonged to Imam Hossein’s mourning ceremony in the month of Muharram.

A feeling of joy suddenly floods Shahab’s chest. Is this the cure he’s been waiting for?
