'No One is Waiting for You' vying at Kazan filmfest

The Kazan Int’l Muslim Film Festival in Russia is hosting Iranian doc ‘No One is Waiting for You’.

The Kazan International Muslim Film Festival has been playing host to Iranian Documentary ‘No One is Waiting for You’.

Produced and directed by Mohsen Eslamzadeh, the Iranian title is vying at the long documentary competition section of the 18th edition of the Russian event.

‘No One is Waiting for You’ is the only Iranian documentary competing with nine other works at the feature documentary section of the festival.

The motto of the Kazan festival is “To the dialogue of cultures through the culture of dialogue”.

Launched in 2005, the festival aims to provide a platform for those working in the field of culture and arts in Russia and Muslim countries to exchange their experiences, and aims to display the creative achievements of Muslim cinematographers, among others.

The 18th edition of the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival has been slated for September 7-11, 2022, in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia.
