ifilm English TV to air new film ‘Superstar’

ifilm’s new feature film ‘Superstar’ has been scheduled to go on air on July 1, 2017.

The movie produced by Mohammad Nikbin and directed by Tahmineh Milan reviews the story of a famous film star in big trouble.

Kourosh is a successful though very arrogant superstar who is not up to anything good. But then a sixteen-year-old girl named Raha comes along, claiming to be his daughter.

Raha says she is the daughter of Kourosh and Mahnaz, who was his former beloved. Kourosh is positive that he was told the baby was aborted; however, Raha insists on staying with him and changing his life.

The movie cast list includes Fariba Kosari, Shahab Hosseini, Sara Khoiniha, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Nasrin Moqanlou, Afsaneh Bayegan, Narges Mohammadi, Leila Zare, and Fattaneh Malek-Mohammadi.

‘Superstar’, made in 2008, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT (03:30 Tehran time).

ifilm English will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00 (all GMT times).
