Watch trailer for iFilm English TV’s ‘Gharib’s World’

Website of iFilm English TV Channel has published a trailer for Iranian series ‘Gharib’s World’.

Directed by Kianoush Ayyari, the first episode of the biopic will hit the air on September 19, 2022.

‘Gharib’s World’ has a look at the life and times of Doctor Mohammad Gharib, from the time he was born to the very end of his life.

The doctor was a famous pediatrician who is known as founder of pediatric practice in Iran and established a specialized hospital to cure children.

Sick, on a hospital bed, Doctor Gharib takes us back to his childhood, youth and later years.

While doing so, he gives us an insight into Iran’s political and economic situation at the time.

Notable on the cast list are Reza Babak, Mehran Rajabi, Mehdi Hashemi, Maryam Kaviani, Shahab Kasraee, Farahnaz Manafi-Zaher, Bahareh Afshari, Reza Kianian, Elnaz Habibi, Saba Kamali, Amir-Hossein Seddiq, Maryam Soltani, and the late Hossein Panahi.

Don’t miss the first part of the 37-episode ‘Gharib’s World’ (2002-2007) tonight at 23:00 GMT.

Each episode of the biopic will be repeated the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.
