An exhibition of Persian and Indian calligraphy has been running in the Indian capital of New Delhi concurrent with the Unity Week and the auspicious birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the beloved prophet of Islam.

Titled ‘Mashq Eshq’, the exhibition of Iranian and Indian calligraphy kicked off on Sunday and will welcome Iranian art and culture enthusiasts for four days.

A number of Sikh and Hindu leaders, along with Indian political officials visited the exhibition.

Iran and India, as two great civilizations of the world, have global reputation for the historical and traditional art of calligraphy.

Persian calligraphy stands as one of the most revered arts throughout history.

The exhibition has displayed a part of this beautiful art.
