Mohammad to get into politics

Mohammad is to get involved with politics in iFilm’s ‘Gharib’s World’.

He asks his colleagues to get together and talk about the scary news he has received from a part of the country.

“How can you believe it? How can you believe that a mother feeds on the flesh of her dead child’s corpse? A child that probably died of hunger too,” he says.

Mohammad is encouraging his friends to travel with him to the area in a bid to aid the locals.

Each episode of the 37-episode biopic will be repeated the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.

Directed by Kianoush Ayyari, ‘Gharib’s World’ has a look at the life and times of Doctor Mohammad Gharib, from the time he was born to the very end of his life.

The doctor was a famous pediatrician who is known as the founder of pediatric practice in Iran and established a specialized hospital to cure children.

Sick, on a hospital bed, Doctor Gharib takes us back to his childhood, youth and later years.

While doing so, he gives us an insight into Iran’s political and economic situation at the time.

Notable on the cast list are Reza Babak, Mehran Rajabi, Mehdi Hashemi, Maryam Kaviani, Shahab Kasraee, Farahnaz Manafi-Zaher, Bahareh Afshari, Reza Kianian, Elnaz Habibi, Saba Kamali, Amir-Hossein Seddiq, Maryam Soltani, and the late Hossein Panahi.
