Police to arrest Taha in iFilm’s ‘The Sound of Rain’

Turkish Police is to arrest Taha in iFilm’s social drama ‘The Sound of Rain’.

While on his way to sign a contract in Turkey, the police stops Taha and finds a bunch of drugs in his briefcase.

Certainly someone has set him up, but who and why? Now, Nader has to go to Turkey to follow Taha’s case and find the answers.

Directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ tells the story of Taha, a successful businessman and a widower living with his five-year-old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.

Notable on the cast list of ‘The Sound of Rain’ are Sorayya Qasemi, Mehran Ahmadi, Siavash Kheirabi, Sam Derakhshani, Sepideh Khodaverdi, Elham Charkhandeh, Azadeh Zarei, and Hamid-Reza Pegah.
