Iran’s Hyrcanian Forests, which lie along the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The 25 to 50-million-year-old Hyrcanian forests form a unique forested massif that enjoys floristic biodiversity.
An amazing part of the forests is located in Shahroud, nestled between Semnan and Golestan provinces.
Some other parts are in Iran’s Mazandaran Province, in the vicinity of the Caspian Sea with an incredible nature that is beautiful in every season.
The forest is hidden in an ocean of clouds making it an alluring destination for those who love adventures.
