Will Taha be swindled in ‘The Sound of Rain’?

Will Taha Riahi, a father who has been away from his daughter, be swindled by his nephew, Nader, in the 18th episode of ‘The Sound of Rain’?

Some twenty years after being framed for the crime he never committed, Taha is back to look for his beloved daughter.

He once trusted his sweetheart child with the people who were not trustworthy at all. Nader and his wife’s inhumane behavior towards Baran made her run away from home.

Now that Baran’s father is back and asks for her daughter, Nader and Zivar have introduced their own daughter, Bita, as Baran.

The wicked couple who do not want to lose all they own, which in fact belong to Taha, mastermind a plan to make the man leave all his possessions with Bita.

But, will Taha be swindled or his fatherly instincts will make him have double thoughts?

Directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ is a TV series comprised of 40 episodes.

A brief synopsis for the show reads, “Taha’s a successful businessman and a widower living with his five year old daughter. On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew. After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people”.

Each episode of the series hits the air at 21:00 GMT and it will be repeated three times the next day at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00.
