Norwegian cartoon fest hails Iran’s ‘It’s a Gray, Gray World!’

The I - CAN - International Cartoon and Animation Festival of Norway awards Iranian short animation ‘It’s a Gray, Gray World!’.

Iranian short animation ‘It’s a Gray, Gray World!’ has received one award and a mention at the 2022 I - CAN - International Cartoon and Animation Festival of Norway.

The latest edition of the Norwegian film festival bestowed an honorary diploma as well as the best animated short film award upon Seyyed Mohsen Pour-Mohseni Shakib’s toon.

The 20th Fantoche International Animation Film Festival in Switzerland, the 35th Atlanta Film Festival Out On Film in the US, the 27th Cine Mad Film Festival in Spain, and the 13th Baku International Film Festival previously screened the animated flick.

Pour-Mohseni Shakib is a prolific young filmmaker, who has already made a number of important works, such as ‘The Boot’, which has participated in famed global events, including the 49th Student Academy Awards in the US.

The I-CAN - International Cartoon and Animation Festival of Norway is a platform to screen drawing/cartoons, animation of cartoons, and films through an annual festival where there will be several individual events and workshops throughout the year.
