Nader to kick Taha out of his own company in ‘The Sound of Rain’

Nader is to kick Uncle Taha out of his own company in iFilm’s social drama ‘The Sound of Rain’.

Taha wants to go to his room as the manager of the company, but he finds the door locked. Nader has ordered the staff to lock the door and don’t let Taha in.

“This company was yours a long time ago. It’s mine now. The boss, the manager; I am the one who does everything here. No one knows who you are here,” Nader says.

Directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ tells the story of Taha, a successful businessman and a widower living with his five-year-old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.

Notable on the cast list of ‘The Sound of Rain’ are Sorayya Qasemi, Mehran Ahmadi, Siavash Kheirabi, Sam Derakhshani, Sepideh Khodaverdi, Elham Charkhandeh, Azadeh Zarei, and Hamid-Reza Pegah.
