Maral to meet Kabir in iFilm’s ‘My Mother’

Maral (Mahgol) is to meet Kabir in person in iFilm’s social drama ‘My Mother’.

“How could you do something like this to me? … You took my daughter from me,” Maral says.

“Well, I was her guardian and thought this was for the best … I didn’t want her to be raised by a man who had no love for her. You didn’t really expect me to trust my brother’s only child, my own flesh and blood, with a crazy man, did you?” Kabir replies.

Written by Amir-Abbas Payam, directed by Javad Afshar and produced by Esmaeel Afifeh, ‘My Mother’ tells the story of a strong woman who has been through the ups and downs of life and managed to survive and thrive.

But an old secret unravels her life and disturbs her peace. She realizes some of her loved ones have gravely wronged her and sets on a path to get back what was taken away.
