The 29th Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT) is set to play host to Iran.

The 29th Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT) is set to play host to Iran.

To be organized by the Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran (TACI), Iran’s pavilion will hold various cultural evenings, folk music performances, live handicrafts and calligraphy workshops.

The pavilion will also organize B2B meetings, displays of 3D films of historical monuments and travel destinations, offerings of Persian cuisines and souvenirs, and special publications and brochures.

The Islamic Republic intends to show a purposeful presence in a bid to promote its numerous attractions in various tourism fields while it pursues investment capacities.

The MITT in Moscow is one of the largest trade shows for travel and tourism in Russia, an important meeting place for the industry and a very good opportunity to network with colleagues and customers.

“In 2022, the exhibition took place to great success, bringing 541 exhibitors from 15 countries and 57 Russian regions, more than 9 000 visitors. It also hosted 14 events with 135 leading experts,” writes the exhibition’s official website.

This year, some 611 exhibitors from 28 countries and 10446 visitors from 51 countries will be visiting the MITT in Moscow.

Home to countless attractions, including 26 UNESCO World Heritage sites, Iran seeks to draw the attention of potential Russian travelers, as many domestic experts believe the majority of whom are unfamiliar with Iran’s tourism market.

The Russian event will be held in Moscow from March 16 to 18, 2023.
