Cinemaking to screen Iran’s ‘Nazpari’

Iranian short film ‘Nazpari’ has made its way to the Cinemaking International Film Festival (CIFF) in Bangladesh.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Nazpari’ will be screened in the 3rd edition of the Bangladeshi event.

‘Nazpari’, written and directed by Mohammad-Reza Mohammadi, is about an Afghan girl attempting to avoid being forced into marriage.

The film’s cast members include Nazanin Asgari, Fatemeh Shirazi, Seyyed-Hossein Hosseini, and Latifa Mousavi-Nejad.

‘Nazpari’ won the Best International Short Film at the Stuff MX Film Festival in Mexico.

Cinemaking International Film Festival is one of the prominent film festivals in South Asia.

The 3rd edition of CIFF will be held on February 24-28.
