A documentary on Iran’s anti-terror commander General Qassem Soleimani has been well-received by Iranian audience.

On the third anniversary of General Qassem Soleimani’s assassination, a documentary titled ‘A trace of a man’ (Radi az yek mard), directed by Sasan Falahfar, was screened in a number of movie theaters across the country on Monday, and was well-received by the audience, proving the people’s love to the martyr.

Cinemas in some cities decided to offer further screenings of the documentary as it was well-received.

The film is about General Qassem Soleimani, and is narrated by people of the village of Qanat-e Malek in Kerman Province, the hometown of the commander.

General Soleimani, who was the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), as well as eight other people in a US drone strike at Baghdad’s international airport on January 3, 2020.
