Marzieh is running away from her husband Abbas in iFilm’s ‘A House without a Bird’.

She just doesn’t want to forgive her husband for the lie he told her.

“That one huge lie has made up for all the little lies you have told in your life. I never forget it. I just want to know why. Why wasn’t my husband honest with me after all these years?” Marzieh asks him.

Produced by Amir-Hossein Sharifi and directed by Kazem Masoumi, ‘A House without a Bird’ tells the story of Abbas and his wife who have been looking for their daughter whom they lost during the war some thirty years ago.

After they publish an advertisement for the missing person in a newspaper, a young woman shows up and claims to be their long-lost daughter.

A DNA test confirms that she is indeed Abbas’s daughter, bringing joy to their lives.

But the new discovery also threatens to reveal a deep dark secret that Abbas has been hiding all these years which could tear their family apart.

Notable on the cast list are Mohammad Hatami, Ronak Younesi, Saeed Nikpour, Ahou Kheradmand, Esmaeel Khalaj, and Jafar Dehqan.
