The movie, directed by Hassan Fathi, has been an attempt to show 21st-century cold-blooded crimes against humanity.
It shows the tortures that took place in Guantanamo prison at a time when such barbaric actions were the most censured by humanitarian organizations.
“This is the story of a man being tortured in Guantanamo Prison,” a brief synopsis for the film reads.
Fathi explained to the media that hand-held cameras were used to capture the scenes in this movie to convey the sense that the narrator of the story is a curious journalist seeking for showing the truth to the world.
The film was first aired on Iran's national TV under the name of ‘Remember Your Dreams’.
The screenplay for the flick has been written by Farhad Tohidi with the project produced by Mehdi Homayounfar.
The cast members of the movie are all Lebanese actors.
