Fajr filmfest announces selection committee

The members of the selection committee of the 2023 Fajr Film Festival have been introduced.

The secretariat of the event announced the names of the selection committee of the event.

Habib Ahmadzadeh (writer and director), Reza Pourhossein (cultural manager), Rouhollah Sohrabi (writer and director) and Mohammadreza Sharafeddin (producer) are on the committee list. 

The list goes on with Parviz Sheikh Tadi (writer and director), Mohammad-Reza Abbasian (filmmaker) and Mohammad Hossein Niroumand (cultural manager).

Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 41st edition of the festival, to be headed by Mojtaba Amini, will take place on February 1-10.
