Iranian actress and director Marzieh Boroomand has talked to ifilm at the 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Isfahan.
The Iranian filmmaker expressed her enthusiasm for such cultural events being held in the historic city of Isfahan.
“In its 30th edition, the International Film Festival for Children and Youth has come back to its birthplace, Isfahan, and I hope it stays here”, Boroomand said during the interview.
The International Film Festival for Children and Youth is organized annually by the Farabi Cinema Foundation in affiliation with the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs.
The event celebrates films made for children and youth. It also supports emerging filmmakers with innovative cinematic visions and ideas as well as serves as a platform for professionals to come together and exchange ideas.
The 30th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth was held from June 30 to July 6, 2017 in the Iranian city of Isfahan.
