Fajr music fest extends entries deadline

The Fajr International Music Festival has extended entries deadline.

The Music and Media Award of the 38th edition of Fajr Music Festival has been extended until February 7, 2023.

"Music and Media Award" is held in two parts and with the aim of celebrating the role of media in the field of criticism and synergy in music, increasing the role of the media in public attention to music, creating culture with music, increasing literacy in the art of music, especially the music of regions and subcultures, and explaining music as a cultural commodity.

Fajr International Music Festival is Iran’s most prestigious Music Festival was founded in 1986, several years after the formation of the film and theatre festivals in the artistic sphere of Iran.

Since then, the festival has enjoyed strong performances of many famous national and international artists.

The 38th edition of the festival is scheduled for February 17-22, 2023 in two competition and non-competition sections.
