Sobh Media festival; opportunity for artists

Missions and details of the Sobh Media Festival in Iran has been announced.

Ebrahim Aliborzi, the secretary of the event said one of the main missions of the Sobh (meaning morning in Persian) is to recognize and introduce a large community of program makers who are working at the world section of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

In addition, the festival is an opportunity for domestic and foreign artists to produce artworks.

Referring to different parts of the event, Aliborzi said the shows and programs produced by IRIB will be juried and awarded at the first section of the Sobh Media Festival.

At the second section, titled “New Ideas”, the festival is willing to receive the works made by the artists and producers who are not affiliated to the IRIB.

Considering a global perspective and the international audience is the main point about the works to be juried at the event.

The theme of the festival is not limited to any certain subject, and the works may be produced in any language.

The juries to review the received works include a radio committee, a TV committee, a cyberspace committee, and a committee for the New Ideas.

The interested producers and artists can send their works (music video, animation, motion-graphic, etc.) to the secretariat of the event before February 14, 2023.
