Pictorial report of flamingos in Miankaleh in north of Iran

Each winter, migratory birds, including flamingos, flock to Iran’s northern province of Mazandaran.

Most of the migratory birds in Mazandaran are flamingos. They spend the cold season there and fly back in spring.

Miankaleh international wetland is one of Mazandaran’s lagoons that host the migratory flamingos.
