Love to turn Masoud’s life upside down: iFilm cut

A troublesome love has bloomed to turn Masoud Shastchi’s life upside down in tonight’s episode of popular comedy series ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’.  

Masoud, the very law-abiding employee at the Archive Department of his office, has a marriage proposal to make.

He goes to his favorite girl’s home to talk to her dad about his intention. There, all bashful and stuttering from shyness, Masoud is asked to do something that is illegal and against his moral standards.

The worst thing is that doing this illegal thing has been put forward by his future-to-be father in law as a condition to marry his favorite girl.   

He consents to go with it but as lying begets more lying, Masoud soon enters a world he never knew existed.

The series, co-produced by Majid Aghagolian, Hamid Aghagolian and directed by Mehran Modiri, will hit the air daily at 19:00 GMT with three repeats the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 all GMT times.  

The 2008-made series, which is comprised of 13 episodes, expresses social themes with comic actions.

iFilm English website puts a brief synopsis for the series as, “Because of experiencing awkward situations, a man is several times mistaken for other people, more often than not the famous ones. Now he must explain himself to a judge as he is arrested for impersonation.”

Starring in the series are Modiri, Saeed Pirdoust, Falamak Joneidi, Siamak Ansari, Shaqayeq Dehqan, Roshanak Ajamian, Pejman Bazeghi, Ali-Reza khamseh.

The long list of casts goes on with Elika Abdolrazzaqi, Parviz Fallahipour, Reza Feyz-Norouzi, Soroush Sehhat, Bahareh Rahnama, Parastou Golestani and Akram Mohammadi.
