Iran has more than 1500 kinds of Needlework

A handicraft expert has told the media that Iran has more than 1500 kinds of needlework art.

Saying that the Iranian needlework can be more valuable than oil, Maryam Samak-Jalali mentioned that Iran enjoys some 150 types of needlework which exceed 1500 kinds, considering the subsets.

She added that the variety of needlework in Iran is unique and rare in the world.

Samak-Jalali said that the international marketing of needlework can make the world familiar with this valuable artwork.
