Pre-New Year ritual: Iranian style

Based on the customs, Iranians pray to the Lord right before the New Year.

We remember the year that just passed and wish each other good luck in the coming one.

Then, the elder of the family reads the traditional prayer.

“Renewer of hearts and insights, Lord of day and night, Former of times and circumstances, Form our inner being to the best state of mind.“
