iFilm+ to take you to Gilan Rural Heritage Museum

iFilm+ has invited you to a virtual tour to Iran's Gilan Rural Heritage Museum.

Gilan Rural Heritage Museum is located in the heart of Saravan Forest near Rasht City and before Fouman Road. Many rural houses have been gathered in the museum from the surrounding villages.

The studies and field works for establishing the rural museum were started in 2002, including the projects of determining the location and recognizing Gilan cultural fields.

The fields can be divided into nine parts, according to the findings of the studies, based on the cultural and architectural diversity of the province and regardless of the country divisions.

The fields include two main branches of the east and west each one with three coastal, plain and mountainous subcategories.

It also should be said that some places for resting, restaurant, mosque and bazaar have been considered in designing the museum.

Finally the constructions were started in 2004 and entered into the executive phase in 2005.
