Visit Shahrasb Citadel in Yazd Province of Iran

iFilm English TV Channel’s show ‘iFilm+’ has offered a virtual tour to Shahrasb Citadel in Yazd Province of Iran.

The citadel is Iran’s second largest adobe structure after the Bam citadel or Arg-e Bam in Kerman.

Today, this historical structure remains silently in the outskirts of Abarkouh in Yazd Province.

The castle with area of 17,000 square meters includes parts such as a vestibule, residential houses, a stable, grain warehouses and a bath.

The basic core of this massive residential complex can be attributed to the Safavid Dynasty due to its separate tower, and barrage and a façade that is located in the center of the outer castle with eight towers in four corners.
