‘Before Heaven’ vying in Dieciminuti festival

Iranian short animation ‘Before Heaven’ has made its way to the Dieciminuti Film Festival in Italy.

‘Before Heaven’, produced by Soureh Film Club, is competing at the 18th edition of the Italian event which is currently underway.

Directed by Ahmad Heydarian, the animated film is about the Palestinian cause.

“Children’s paintings are on the wall and the new resident of the house has decided to paint all of the walls,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The film has won several awards at various festivals, including the Resistance International Film Festival in Iran.

Founded in 2005, the Dieciminuti Film Festival is one of the most important events dedicated to short films in Italy.

The 18th edition of the event kicked off on March 27 and will run until April 1.
