Following the announcement of bankruptcy, the whole members of Ardeshir’s family have been gravely impacted, each one in a way. Ava, his wife, is desperate for losing their house.
And, Danial, Ardeshir and Ava’s son, the young man who is on the verge of getting married, has been threatened by his fiancé’s family of breaking the engagement.
To avoid the annulment of the engagement, Danial has told his bride-to-be’s wife that the bankruptcy has been a lie and a scam to get away with not paying the tax. Her family, however, need a proof and that is why Ardeshir must call them and confess to his sham plan.
Will he accept Danial’s proposal and make that call?
Directed by Saeed Aqakhani, the series follows the story of Ardeshir who gets involved in a financial crisis.
‘The Occupiers’ starts when Ava and her two children return home from an overseas vacation and find out that her husband Ardeshir has sold their home and has gone missing.
After finding Ardeshir, Ava and her kids have to spend the following days and weeks either stranded outside on the streets or at her mother’s house trying to figure a way out of the financial misfortune they’ve incurred.
Notable among the cast are Hadiseh Tehrani, Sepand Amir-Soleymani, Mohammad Kasbi, Marjaneh Golchin, Sirous Gorjestani, Amir Ghaffarmanesh, Mehran Rajabi, Ali Sadeqi, Saba Kamali, Hamid Lolaee, Ardeshir Kazemi, Behshad Sharifian, and Halimeh Saeedi.
