Martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS): iFilm cut

The 21st day of the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan coincides with the martyrdom anniversary of the first Imam of Shia Muslims, Imam Ali (AS).

Every year, the mourners converge in mosques, places of worship and religious sites nationwide to mark the solemn occasion. During the ceremonies, poems are recited and sermons delivered in honor of one of the most revered figures of Shia Islam.

The martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) is commemorated in Iran and other Muslim nations worldwide.
