Iran doc ‘The Second Man’ production process completes

Sharifeh Mehdizadeh, director of ‘The Second Man’ has announced completion of the documentary’s production process.

In the research done by the documentary filmmaker about Defenders of Shrine martyrs, she had faced a martyr who was the worker of municipal waste recycling center. She decides to make a documentary about him.

Referring to the Idea of producing ‘The Second Man’, she said, “There are rumors about the financial benefits of jihad for the Defenders of shrine in the society. Our team decided to make this documentary to show that they have never taken part in this war for financial intentions.”

“In the history of each nation there are heroes who have played important part in identifying the identity of different generations. The eternal heroes of Iran are these martyrs who were sometimes born even years after the Holy Defense,” Sharifzadeh said.  

‘The Second Man’ has been produced by Islamic Revolution House of Documentary and will be broadcasted from IRIB soon.
