Irani family celebrating New Year in ‘In the Eye of the Storm’

Irani family is celebrating New Year in iFilm English TV Channel’s series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’.

The new Persian year, also known as Nowruz, has knocked at the door and all the family members and relatives are celebrating it while wishing for the best to come during the following year.

In the meanwhile, Haj Hassan Irani announced a marriage proposal that surprises almost everyone.

Each episode of the 44-part action series will be repeated the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.

Produced by Masoud Jafari-Jozani, Abbas Akbari, Habibollah Kasehsaz and Reza Ansarian, and directed by Jafari-Jozani, ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ spans the period of history between the revolutionary movements began by Iran's national hero Mirza Koochak Khan in the early twentieth century, to the freedom of Khoramshahr during the eight-year war between Iran and Iraq in the 1980s.

The story is told through the trials and tribulations, love and relationships of one family.

On the cast list are Parsa Pirouzfar, Sima Tirandaz, Jahangir Almasi, Laleh Eskandari, Akbar Abdi, Mostafa Zamani, Sam Derakhshani, Gelareh Abbasi, Saeed Rad, Kambiz Dirbaz, Saeed Nikpour, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, Houman Seyyedi, and Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif.
