iFilm releases trailer for ‘The Color of Suspicion’

iFilm English Website has released a trailer for the channel’s mini-series ‘The Color of Suspicion’, set to go on air from Monday at 18:00 GMT.

The new show will replace ‘Medical Building’ as broadcast of this comedy is temporarily stopped to pay homage to the mourning days of Tasou’a and Ashura.

Written and directed by Fariborz Arabnia, ‘The Color of Suspicioun’ tells the story of a young, resilient and smart police officer, Ali, who is secretly assigned to penetrate a drug cartel as an undercover agent to bust their network.

Ali warns his superiors that drugs are only a cover used by Amjad, the network leader, who is working for a larger unknown organization determined to sabotage the Iranian police and security data systems.

The mission turns into a one-on-one battle between Ali and Amjad, as the latter takes steps to threaten Ali’s family in an effort to scare the officer away from his mission.

The cast list includes Fariborz Arabnia, Ammar Tafti, Arash Majidi, Shahrzad Kamalzadeh and Shahrokh Foroutanian.
