Iran movie ‘Bodyguard’ released on Blu-ray

Iranian blockbuster ‘Bodyguard’ has received a physical release on Blu-ray, a note released to local media says.

Development manager of ‘Bodygaurd’ Esmaeil Hatamikia said in a note to local media that latest release of ‘Bodyguard’ directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia is Iran’s first Blu-ray film.

Prominent Iranian filmmaker Hatamikia’s ‘Bodyguard’ depicts idealism in the new era. It narrates the story of a middle-aged man protecting high-profile political figures.

Starring Parviz Parastoui, Merila Zarei and Babak Hamidian, the movie won four awards at the 34th edition of the Fajr Film Festival--the Best Actor in a Leading Role, the Best Visual Effects, the Best Director and the Best Picture.
