Bijan to be dispatched to battlefield

Dr. Bijan Irani is to be dispatched to battlefield in iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘In the Eye of the Storm’.

Once he went to the frontlines to see his son and got injured. After returning to the base and spending a short time there for recovery, Bijan is now willing to join the warriors in the battlefield.

Each episode of the 44-part action series will be repeated the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.

Produced by Masoud Jafari-Jozani, Abbas Akbari, Habibollah Kasehsaz and Reza Ansarian, and directed by Jafari-Jozani, ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ spans the period of history between the revolutionary movements began by Iran's national hero Mirza Koochak Khan in the early twentieth century, to the freedom of Khoramshahr during the eight-year war between Iran and Iraq in the 1980s.

The story is told through the trials and tribulations, love and relationships of one family.

On the cast list are Parsa Pirouzfar, Sima Tirandaz, Jahangir Almasi, Laleh Eskandari, Akbar Abdi, Mostafa Zamani, Sam Derakhshani, Gelareh Abbasi, Saeed Rad, Kambiz Dirbaz, Saeed Nikpour, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, Houman Seyyedi, and Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif.
