Veteran Iranian actor Ali Nasirian shows reverence for a recitation of the holy Quran in a public cultural event.

Veteran Iranian actor Ali Nasiriyan shows reverence for a recitation of the holy Quran in a public cultural event.

The veteran actor who arrived slightly late to the event made a conscious decision to not enter until the recitation had concluded.

This act of respect highlights the significance of honoring religions and reflects his dedication to upholding moral and religious values.

His action serves as a gentle reminder of a verse from the Quran which states, "When the Quran is recited, listen to it attentively and be silent, so you may be shown mercy" (Surah Al-Araf, chapter 7, verse 204).

Nasiriyan began his artistic career as a stage actor in 1952.

He made his cinematic debut with ‘The Cow’ setting foot on the path to becoming one of the most renowned and popular Iranian actors.

He has appeared in numerous movies and series. Among his most notable performances are in the movies ‘Kamal-ol-Molk’, ‘Mirza Nowruz's Shoes’, ‘Captain Khorshid’, ‘Scent of Joseph’, ‘The Silent King’, 'Saturday Hunter', and 'Iran Burger'.

He also played roles in the series 'Heads on Gallows’, ‘Hezar Dastan’, 'The Wolves', 'The Lost Paradise', 'Neighbors', 'Lighter than Darkness', 'Floating in a Bubble', ‘The Forbidden Fruit’, 'Sheikh Baha'ee', 'Mankind's Land', and 'Sparrow's Dream'.
