Heart-breaking story of parenthood in ‘Zaferani’: iFilm cut

Find out how Mr. and Mrs. Zaferani first became parents in the final episode of 'Zaferani' to be aired tonight at 23:00 GMT.

Around thirty years ago when Mr. and Mrs. Zaferani thought God had denied them his blessings and they could never become parents, a devastating earthquake left three innocent kids orphan in the suburbs of Mashhad city.

Mohammad-Reza, Maryam and Mina were taken alive out of the debris of their house to become the long-awaited children that Nasser and Nasrin Zaferani wanted to become parents.

However, their good intentions and pure hearts made their prayers answered all over again thirty years later with a child of their own.

‘Zaferani’ narrates the story of a man named Mr. Zaferani and his family, who run a small tea house together. When the man first came to Tehran from Mashhad, a friend of his, Mr. Motamed, gave him his land to work on it, and Mr. Zaferani built the same tea house there.

The story gets its twist when Mr. Motamed dies and his eldest son, Homayoun, claims the place back to build an apartment complex.

Watch the show every night at 23:00 GMT. Each episode of the show has three replays the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.
