Directed by Hamid Zargarnejad, the film that is themed on the sacred defense during the 8-year Iraq-Iran war, will come to the theaters on September 20.
‘Number Ten’, a movie based on a true story, is the story of a man who was captured by the Iraqi forced during the final months into the imposed Iraqi war on Iran. He was then taken to a horrific camp near the border.
A brief tagline for the movie reads, “Breaking the prison in the best way possible, as we’re all afraid of it”.
Majid Salehi, Hessam Manzour, Siamak Safari, Mehdi Zaminpardaz, Behrang Alavi, Ahmad Kavari and Sahra Assadollahi comprise the cast list of the flick.
The film first premiered at the 41st edition of the Fajr International film Festival, where it won 11 nominations, and took home four awards.
