Iran actress Mina Vahid attends private screening for new Iranian title ‘5 pm’.

Iran actress Mina Vahid has joined private screening session for ‘5 p.m.’ directed by Mehran Modiri.

The screening was recently held at Kourosh Cineplex in Iranian capital city of Tehran.

Vahid holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theater. She has appeared in several TV and cinematic productions.

The actress got her acting start in Ali Reza Raisian’s ‘Time to Love’. The film swept most noms at 33th edition of Fajr Film Festival, winning 10 nods at the event.

Her other film and series credits include such titles as ‘Where are my Shoes?’ (2015) by Kiumars Pourahmad and ‘Eve's Daughters’ (2012) by Hossein Soheili Zadeh.

‘5 p.m.’ is the first title by Mehran Modiri set in populated streets, narrating the story of a man who needs to do troublesome task from 7 in the morning till 5 in the afternoon.

The film stars artists such as Siamak Ansari, Amir Jafari and Azadeh Samadian.

Modiri has appeared in several series such as 'The Man of Two Thousand Faces' (2008), 'Bitter Coffee' (2009-2012), 'Heart of Ice 3' (2012), 'My Villa' (2012), 'I'm Just Kidding' (2013), 'In Hashieh' (2014), and 'Sneeze' (2015).

The comedian/auteur began acting at a young age and appeared in a number of plays before attending the University of Tehran, Faculty of Art.

He has directed many of the mentioned series such as 'Flight 57', 'Happy Hour', 'Nowruz 76', 'Excuse Me, You Are?', 'Number 14', '90 Nights', 'Dotted Line' and 'In Hashieh', and 'Sneeze'.

He received a nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role at Fajr Filmfest for his role in 'There is Always a Woman Involved'.
