Popular Iranian actor Ferdows Kaviani passes away

Veteran Iranian actor of cinema, theater and television Ferdows Kaviani has passed away at the age of 82.

He was suffering from illness for a long time and passed away at his home in Tehran on October 1, 2023.

Born in 1951 in Kerman, Kaviani was a veteran Iranian actor who made his film debut in 1970.

He studied Theater Directing at Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University and has directed a few shorts. 

Kaviani appeared in many series, including 'Haft-Seen', ‘Boro Bia Neighborhood’, ‘Hygiene Neighborhood’, ‘The Spouses’, ‘Friendship Agency’, ‘Our School’, and ‘Behind tall Mountains’.

He also acted in films such as 'The Orange Suit', ‘In the Storm’s Path’, ‘Hamoun’, ‘All My Daughters’, ‘Killing Mad Dogs’, and ‘A Non-profit Police Station’.
