Bitter truth, broken hearts in ‘The Forbidden Fruit’

In the 3rd episode of iFilm series ‘The Forbidden Fruit’, Haj Younes is confronted with a harsh reality - his beloved daughter, Qazzalleh, has married her true love, Mostafa.

This revelation shatters Haj Younes' world and sets in motion a series of emotional confrontations.

Haj Younes visits Qazzalleh, unaware of the life-altering news awaiting him. The moment he learns about her marriage to Mostafa, he is struck by a wave of disbelief and heartbreak.

In a moment of bitterness and despair, he declares that she is no longer his girl and wishes them a miserable life together. This outburst reflects his wounded pride and shattered dreams.

However, this bitter confrontation raises questions about the resilience of love. Can Qazzalleh and Mostafa handle this sudden turn of events? Will their love be strong enough to withstand the bitterness that has been unleashed? Moreover, was their love worth sacrificing their relationship with their parents?

Produced by Esmaeel Afifeh and directed by Hassan Fathi, 'The Forbidden Fruit' goes on air every night at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00.

‘The Forbidden Fruit’ tells the story of a severely religious businessman whose faith is being put to question after he meets a young girl who is in desperate need of his help.

His once perfect life collapses in front of his eyes as he realizes the pretense that is threatening his reputation, faith and family.
