Haj Younes bestowed to Afterlife in ‘The Forbidden Fruit’

In the 8th episode of iFilm series ‘The Forbidden Fruit’, Hasti takes matters into her own hands in a last-ditch effort to save the factory.

As she confronts Haj Younes in his office, she pleads with him to intervene and stop his son from closing down the factory. However, Haj Younes is unable to accept the truth about his son and refuses to help.

This leads Hasti to make a bold and shocking decision, bestowing Haj Younes to Afterlife and the bridge to Hell where she can get her right if not in this world.

This unexpected turn of events leaves Haj Younes broken and deep in thought, as he grapples with the consequences of his actions.

Produced by Esmaeel Afifeh and directed by Hassan Fathi, 'The Forbidden Fruit' goes on air every night at 23:00 GMT.

‘The Forbidden Fruit’ tells the story of a severely religious businessman whose faith is put to question after he meets a young girl who is in desperate need of his help.

His once perfect life collapses in front of his eyes as he realizes the pretense that is threatening his reputation, faith and family.
