Lie to be exposed in ‘A Mother’s Sacrifices’

Khalil might have to come clean about the fact he has concealed for many years in the 5th episode of iFilm’s social drama ‘A Mother's Sacrifices’.

Many years ago, when Khalil’s wife left him and their new-born baby for a rich man, he gave all his love to his one and only son, Ashkan. He told the kid that his mom died in an accident to make their lonely life bearable and avoid being asked about the mother.

The kid has now grown up and fell in love with a young girl, whose last name is exactly the same as Ashkan’s mother. Learning this fact disturbs Khalil and he does everything in his power to talk his son out of it.

The dispute between the father and son ends into a question that has always been terrifying for Khalil. Ashkan eventually doubts the whole story about his mother being dead and asks his dad if she was alive.

Directed by Behrang Tofiqi, the series hits the air every night at 23:00 GMT. Each episode of the show is repeated the next day at 05:00, 11:00, and 17:00.

‘A Mother’s Sacrifices’ tells a story about the true meaning of forgiveness.

Ateneh abandoned her infant and left him to be raised by his father, Khalil. But, as tragedy hits their family, everything changes.

When she shows up after twenty years and does anything she can to be forgiven, Khalil just can’t find it in his heart to do so.
