Armenian Film Week to host native filmmakers

Two prominent Armenian filmmakers have been scheduled to attend Armenian Film Week in Iran.

Armenian film directors Aram Shahbazyan and Aren Vatyan will attend Armenia Movie Week, which is slated for July 23-29 in the Iranian cities of Tehran, Mashhad and Shiraz.

The weeklong event will showcase 10 feature length films hailing from the Republic of Armenia.

Iran’s Art and Experience Cinema has organized the film week in collaboration with the Embassy of Armenia in Tehran.

A lineup of movies by contemporary filmmakers from the Caucasus state will be screened during the film week at various locations throughout the designated cities.

The two prominent Armenian artists, director and producer Aram Shahbazyan and actor and director Aren Vatyan, will attend the week-long event.
